The wedding day first look; what is it? It’s the moment between a couple sees each other for the first time on the wedding day, before the ceremony. Yes – it breaks tradition but there are many advantages to a First Look. They are genuinely emotional and have a once-in-a-lifetime interaction. Here is why I love wedding day first looks. Give us a ring for all of our first look wedding ideas. We’ve seen the traditional bride and groom, the groom and his college buddy in a wedding dress, and a bride’s first look with her son. Trust me, any way you do a wedding day first look, do it. It helps get the jidders out, it’s a private moment between the couple and it creates a stress-free timeline!
Either your partner cries, laughs, can’t breathe, turns around, or checks you out; it’s real. It’s a heartwarming moment that you will never forget. Breathe it in. Soak it up. This is your moment.

You’re alone. Just you and your groom. 10-15 minutes to see each other can work wonders for those stage-fright jitters. You can hug, kiss, cry, pray, or laugh together. As a photographer, I’m there but hidden. We will also pull the video team with us if needed. We try to stay as far away as we can (and still get the shot) to give you as much space as you need to be alone with your one true love.

They are also a massive help with the timeline. The bridesmaids, groomsmen, and wedding party pictures can be done before the ceremony allowing you to go straight to the reception after family photos. You also have the freedom to enjoy a portion of cocktail hour with your guests. Let’s get the party started!
